Metalfab Inc. designs, engineers, and manufactures dry bulk solids material handling equipment and is custom fabricator of assemblies and components for the power generation industry. Our product line consists of conveyors, feeders, bins and bin activators, bulk bag unloaders, bag slitters, and integrated electro-mechanical systems including silos.
We currently seek a Regional Sales Manager (RSM). This key position within our organization will manage the organization’s sales representatives and select OEM accounts. The RSM will translate our company’s vision, mission, and values through the use of meaningful dialog, tools, and training to inspire and motivate our sales reps into a high-performing extension of our organization. This position requires approximately 30% overnight travel.
REPRESENTATIVE MANAGEMENT & SALES
Train and develop manufacturer sales reps to create a highly motivated and productive representation of Metalfab products throughout the industry.
Provide appropriate and adequate tools for sales reps to quickly and accurately prepare quotations.
Manage performance of sales representatives and deliver constructive feedback.
Establish representative quotas and develop and maintain a plan for monitoring progress.
Prepare quotations for customers, OEMs, and sales representatives.
Knowledge and effective use of ERP system to document and monitor customer and order data.
Interface with all functional departments within the organization.
FORECASTING, ANALYSIS, and CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Track sales representative metrics; develop meaningful interpretations to identify market trends/needs, areas for improvement, and points of review/reward/motivation.
Contribute to the company’s strategic planning and review process.
Identify regional sales system improvements and implement change.
Work to increase sales and market share.
PRODUCT & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE
Know and understand the needs of our market, the product and pricing of our competitors, and the opportunities that exist for product development, service, and sales.
Provide material handling solutions and material flow expertise to sales reps, OEMs, and customers through the application of Metalfab products.
Continuously develop knowledge of the material handling industry: flow, behavior, issues, and solutions.
Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships and contacts within the industry.
Required Key Competencies
Must be computer literate. Working knowledge of MS Office, web-based applications, and ERP systems

The Ideal Candidate will possess
BS of Mechanical, electrical, chemical, or materials engineering
Experience managing outside manufacturer’s sale representatives
Experience in industrial sales
Knowledge of dry bulk material handling equipment
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting
